Step four:

Add your first navigation text. In this tutorial the font is Verdana, size 14pt, smooth and #FFFFFF.

Add the following layer styles: Gradient Overlay, Stroke.

Step five:

Now add an Icon to go with your first navigation link. In this tutorial the icon came from font Webdings.

Add a Stroke layer styles.

Step six:

Duplicate the layer-styles you created in step one to make the rest of your navigation. Set them up like you see on the picture guide.
